Manzanola Town Park

The town park will support a variety of community functions.

The Town of Manzanola recently restored the historic train depot to serve as Town Hall and Senior Center. Parks & Gardens worked closely with town officials and the community to prepare a Master Plan for site improvements as well as a detailed site plan for the Depot in support of a grant application for funding through GOCO. The process required balancing different local interests competing for space in small, confined site.

Duck Lake has an established history as outstanding urban bird habitat. Habitat is one component of a variety of experiences available within the City Park, and served as the foundation for the original master planning of the Denver Zoo.
