Heather R. Noyes – Principal

Heather is Managing Principal of Parks & Gardens and has over 19 years of landscape architecture and planning experience. Heather specializes in land use and design policies and works closely with municipalities and land owners to draft and implement character-based design standards and implementation plans that reflect the vision and goals of the community. Heather is a skilled public facilitator who works side by side with stakeholders, owners, residents, business owners, state and federal agencies to understand and incorporate varying perspectives into a cohesive and collaborative planning process.
Heather's extensive experience as a landscape architect provides her with a detailed understanding of design issues and the effect infill and redevelopment have on the existing framework and historic development patterns of a community. Recent projects have required thoughtful, creative responses to the unique characteristics of urban neighborhoods and rural communities facing extreme development pressure.

Billy Gregg, RLA, ASLA – Principal

Billy Gregg practiced landscape architecture for sixteen years prior to founding Parks & Gardens in 2004. He possesses an extensive portfolio of built work that reflects an emphasis on collaboration with related design and engineering disciplines. Billy is an adept public facilitator who works closely with clients and the public to create lasting, memorable facilities and landscapes. Billy's ongoing interest in stormwater management and landscape restoration is reflected by diverse project types including the redevelopment and revegetation of contaminated landscapes in both urban and rural contexts. Billy works closely with engineers and geotechnical experts to develop sustainable solutions for large scale infrastructure and redevelopment projects as well as localized stormwater and water quality improvements.

Ilene Flax, RLA – Senior Landscape Architect

Ilene Flax has worked on a diversity of design and planning projects for over thirteen years. Ilene serves as a senior landscape architect and provides project coordination, analysis, design development, construction documentation, specifications and document production.
Ilene’s project experience has included prairie restoration and landscape management coordinated with long term construction projects, integrating innovative water quality areas into conventional municipal facilities, demonstrating sustainable planting design as maintainable beds and plant palettes, and incorporating complex civil engineering, grading, and drainage with landscape design.

Crissy Roe, RLA, LEED AP – Senior Landscape Architect

Crissy Roe has nine years professional experience as a landscape architect. She is been responsible for site planning, design development, construction documentation, construction observation and computer-aided design. Crissy has worked with public and private clients and project managed diverse projects including natural area restoration, stream channel stabilization, park design, athletic facility design and master planning.

Kristin Danford – Landscape Architect / GIS / Graphic Design

Kristin joined Parks & Gardens in 2008. Her eight years of professional experience includes site analysis and planning, as well as public engagement, computer-aided design, design development, construction documentation, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis on projects of varying scope and scale. Additionally, she has an exceptional graphic ability creating elaborate before and after conceptual illustrations for various projects, mapping complicated trails and parks networks, and formatting report documents.
